Random trip to the Met yesterday. I was only able to stay for a few hours, but I still managed to spend some time with a few of my favorites. I need to like, make daily trips for a year to see everything in that beautiful museum. Especially because I stand in front of each painting for at least half an hour.

In order:
Vincent Van Gogh, Shoes
Pablo Picasso, The Blind Man’s Meal (and a few others from his Blue Period)
Gustav Klimt, some random portrait I can’t seem to remember the name of (or even find on the museum’s website, what the hell)
Auguste Rodin, The Burghers of Calais (one of the original twelves casts, the first cast is in front of the town hall of Calais, France)
Jean-Baptiste Carpeaux, Ugolino and his Sons
